I was trying to remember the little boy I called "Markie" that I must have spent a lot of time with when I was little. I stumbled on this obituary and wanted to offer my condolences to the family. Dick was a member of the Souhegan Lions Club whose membership always made a difference. In his tenure as club president he made changes in how we did things which really "stuck" because they worked better. He served many years as a club director. I will always think of his mantra regarding how we spend our funds: "Let's keep it local and related to our primary missions of vision and hearing."
