He always treated me like one of the family, and even though I have not had the chance to see him in a great while, he meant a lot to me. He will be sorely missed in this world.

It seems that some of the color went out of the world when my grandfather passed. He was a vibrant and active man who always had time to listen to me when I was a young girl. And as I grew older I came to appreciate the lessons he had been teaching me over the years. I will miss him terribly! All my love ... your Teeny Bopper

Mr. Bergstrasser was the Best! Wonderful neighbor, the best you could ever have! Always smiling!!!! Always had a tool belt, ready to fix a bicycle or Harley, lawnmower........Had a garden Martha Stewart dreamed of .....Was always positive!!!! Tears of Joy!!! He lived and loved life and most of all his family! He was so proud of his family!!!! Honest to God....Never met a man who smiled more then he did......Dick.....You will be sorely missed....

Richard (Dick) Bergstrasser is my uncle. If anyone would ever need to come up with three simple words to describe him, it would be "Full of Life!" Uncle Dick took great interest in so many things. He continuously had some sort of project going whether it be making his own wine and beer, taking 5 mile walks, raising bees, producing an abundant vegetable garden to share with all, cooking Thai foods, and much more. His sense of humor made all laugh up to his last day on this Earth. He will...
