Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Berke's passing; was a patient for 30+ years. He was a wonderful person; always took the time to ask about the family. He will be missed greatly. My sympathy to his family on the loss of a wonderful dentist and person.

Poppop you were an amazing person and grandpa. You were always here for me and you always made me laugh.I miss you so much and I wish you were still here. You will always be in our hearts. We love you so much

I only met Richard briefly, and spoke to him maybe a dozen times, but I feel as though I've known him forever. His beautiful wife, Leslie, is a client (and friend)of the salon where I work, and she entertains us weekly with stories of her life with Richard.
He would periodically call the salon disguising his voice, but we always caught on and ended up in laughter! What a great sense of humor!
I know he will be missed by his family and many friends, and my heart goes out to all of you. I...

Dear Leslie and Family
I've been going to Richard on and off since I was 8. He was more than a dentist, he was like a member of my family. I will sincerely miss him. My deepest condolances to you, your family and all his friends and patients who will miss him.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. A compassionate dentist. We will love you and miss you always. Thanks you for making us smile.

I've been a patient of Dr. Berke for nearly 40 years. Going to the dentist was -- almost -- an occasion to look forward to, mainly for the change to see and chat with him "How's Loyola's basketball team this year," he'd ask; and I'd have to deliver the mostly mixed reviews. He was unflaggingly kind to his patients and deeply serious about the craft of dentistry. He's left a hole in a lot of his patients' hearts, mine included.

Leslie, Kelly (AKA turtle)and Brad: I am so sorry to hear about Dr. B. I still laugh at the many occasions we spent together so long ago in Des Moines with Michael(may he rest in peace too). My thoughts are with all of you and your families

Kelly, we are so sorry to hear about the lose of your Dad. Please know that you will be in our prayers

The kindest man I've known with the best sense of humor. Dr. Berke, you were so dedicated not only to your career but to your patients' total well being. Always asking and truly caring about everyone you knew. You touched so many people, you are a true gem. I feel honored just to have known you all these years. Thank you for everything.

Forever your patient,
"Brini"
