Not sure what to say?

We sure miss Rich Bernstein. As I have stated before, his imitation of Churchill was a classic. CUNY should make a documentary of his life in order to share his American vision with future generations. I was in the same homeroom with Rich at Stuyvesant HS from Sep 70- June 73.

Richard and I were in the same homeroom at Stuyvesant HS in Manhattan for 3 years. I was truly shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. I saw one of his books on the US Constitution at the Dayton Metro Library. Richard had a wonderful personality and was an expert at putting on a British accent which made us all laugh. My deepest sympathies go to his family!

I worked with Richard decades ago at the law firm of Haythe & Curley . . . he was a new associate (fresh out of law school) and I was a paralegal. He was charming, smart and funny . . . he soon realized the practice of law wasn't for him and I was so glad to learn that he eventually found his true calling in historical writing and teaching constitutional law . . . such a brilliant and wonderful person!!!

I am shocked to discover that Richard Bernstein has died. After I read "The Founding Fathers Reconsidered," I sent him a Facebook friend request just on the off chance that he might respond. Almost immediately, he accepted. Thus began a journey where Richard would kindly read and comment on items I wrote, always sending me back something far better than he received. Eventually, we lost touch, but I always considered him a friend. The world is the poorer for Richard's loss.
