What a beautiful tribute. Uncle Dick was a very kind man. I was amazed at how hard he worked to prepare his Sunday sermon (while the rest of us played pinochle!) and the amount of time he dedicated to his church. He also had a great sense of humor. It always brings a smile to my face when I remember our times together throughout the years. My love to all of you.

Uncle Dick was a fun, joyful, loving presence in my family's lives. He had a wonderfully close relationship with my mother, his sister, Mercedes, who preceded his passing in 2013. Your California family sends our love and sympathy to our Washington family, Kristi and Kari and their loved ones.
