Richard "Piti" Bertoia

I did not know Rich has passed. This saddens me much. I spent great times with Rich and freinds playing percussion...smoking cigars..talking drums ...and one of his most memorable experiences I'm sure..is when he met the percussion players from Santana...of which, I experienced with him..honorably. I look at his picture on my wall every day holding a conga embraced arm in arm with Karl Perazzo. May you rest with the king of kings Rich. Your fratello Angelo

I am very sorry to hear of Rich's passing. I knew Rich from our mutual friendships with Steve and Danny. It was always a pleasure to see Rich as he was such a good man; warm and sincere. I had been praying for Rich and his family and I trust that he is in a better place now.
