Not sure what to say?

We so loved Dick. His wonderful smile and querky remarks greeted us coming into worship each Sunday morning at Gates (Trinity) Alliance Church.
David's personal theological library was increased by Dick's generous giving of books and Donnie received many items that helped to host dinners. We know he will be doing his "thing" greeting us when we too arrive at heaven's gates. You were much loved.

We have many fond memories of Dick from our days at Gates Alliance Church. His birthday and my husbands were just days apart and so they enjoyed sending each other birthday greetings. You never could talk to Dick without a laugh . He had such a happy spirit. He was a blessing to all! We are sorry for your loss but know that he is enjoying the blessing of heaven.

Thinking more of our friend and remembering his big heart and generous spirit. He had such a fun and teasing way about him. Any time spent with him would bring smiles and laughter. Will remember him always with smiles and laughter and gratefulness for his big heart.

Sundays weren't Sundays without Dick. He rode to church with us every week. He was the unofficial hallway patrol - you knew better than to run in church when Dick was watching. But that stern face hid a big heart. He wrote to me when I went to college and after I moved to Alabama. He send us a beautiful gift when we got married. I am sad that he is no longer spreading goodwill down here, but I am happy that he is finally in Heaven with his Savior.

Many fond memories of Dick. Remembering "Worthy is the Lamb" , his favorite hymn.

Dick was a friend throughout our 11 years in Rochester and long afterwards. We have always remembered him with a great deal of love & respect. I can never think of or hear, "I have a bone to pick with you" without thinking of Dick! God granted Dick a long life and may He grant you comfort in this sad time

We have many great memories of Dick from our years of being at Gates Alliance Church. Sorry to hear about his passing.

Sending along our heartfelt condolences to your family. SO many stories about his diligence and service to the church. He was 'not large but in charge' and earned the name "the big little boss" as a term of endearment. What a blessing to remember him and a privilege to pray for you. Fondly, The Lange family

so sorry to hear about the passing of this friend. We have fond remembrances of Dick and we knew Margaret as well. Our sympathies to the family and prayers for comfort. Sincerely, Tom and Peg Lynch
