RICHARD
I HOPE YOU ARE AT PEACE WITH THE LORD
HEAVEN IS THE REAL ART SCHOOL IN THE SKY
MAY THE GOOD LORD WELCOME YOU INTO HIS HEAVENLY KINGDOM I WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. LOVE ALWAYS MAGGIE

My mother still talks about his classes she took in Monterey. He was an inspiration to her and a household name in our family. He will be missed. She still cherishes the cards he drew for her at Christmas. Thank you, Mr. B.

We will both miss you very much, big brother! We will always love you.
Love and blessings to your children,
Pat Madden and Sandy Gault

My deepest sympathy...

Dick and I arrived at Kansas University at the same time in 1945. For a while we were roommates and we both pursued a course in Fine Arts. We kept in touch through the years. He was a wonderful artist and terrific friend. He was well known on campus as he drew a daily cartoon called "Little Man on Campus." I will miss him so very much and I extend my sincere sympathy to his children.
