Read MoreI am very sad to hear of Dick's passing and that we were not able to attend the funeral. I remember going to the Zion store where Shirley and Dick would help gather and sack our groceries. It was always a fun trip to take with my mom. Thank you for contributing wonderful memories during my childhood years growing up in the Zion community.

Very sorry I could not attend Dick's funeral. Jim's brother died and his funeral is Wednesday, April 20, in California and we will be going. Dick's passing is the end of an era. He was the best storyteller I every heard. I'll always remember our Sunday afternoon family gatherings at the Black's home in Zion. Bob always thought of Dick as his mentor.
