Not sure what to say?

Just learned of Dick`s passing, having moved from the Cleveland area to the south. Dick choreographed my wife´s and my wedding dance. He was such a great teacher, that even with my poor dancing skills everybody thought we look like professionals. We are very sad to hear of his passing and our hurts go out to his family and everyone who knew him. He was certainly a gentleman and an excellent dance teacher Wendy and Frank formally of Westlake.

Being in the entertainment scene in Cleveland, I knew Dick and his amazing talent and master of dance. One of the all time greats. RIP and thanks all the cherished memories and entertainment you gave to tens of thousands in the great city of Cleveland. You were one of the best to grace a dance floor.

Dear Loraine,

My husband Eliot and I send our deepest sympathies to you on the passing of your husband Dick. I took dance lessons from him for a number of years and it was he who introduced me to the world of Ballroom dance, which is still a great passion of mine. I I loved my times with Dick, and he really influenced me in so many positive ways. He had true panache. He was was a real gentleman always and gave me so much self confidence, both on and off the dance floor! I...

Our hearts and love are with you Lorraine,
You were our friend and through you we were introduced to your sweetheart , Dick. He was the dearest , sweetest, brightest , raconteur ever. The quintessential gentleman ,always perfect but with an ability to make others feel comfortable , and always encouraging to hear what they had to say . He was bigger than life in so many ways but with a small town heart. We are better for having known him and he will not be forgotten. Love to you. ...

Dear Lorraine,
Please accept my most sincere condolences. Dick was a wonderful man. He was my dance teacher and my friend. We talked about many things, from politics to philosophy. He loved the theater and memorized passages from plays that had meaning for him. He loved you and spoke with great pride about your expertise as a professional dancer.
When Dick and I would talk, he would often end our conversations with, "I love you, kid!" I would say the same to him. This...

Dick will be greatly missed. My husband and I took dance lessons for a number of years. Dick was always a gentleman and a marvelous teacher. Our deepest condolences to his family. Barbara and Alan Lepene

Mr. Blake kept many of us on our toes. I attended his dance classes in an effort to look graceful at my friend's wedding. He taught us well. Sending sincere condolences.

Mother Son wedding dance 2016, thank you Dick Blake

Dearest Loraine:

I will forever cherish the memories that Dick created for our family. We all had the pleasure of coaching with Dick a year prior to our sons wedding in 2016. The fun we had practicing brought us all together and continue to do so.

Dick's witt, manners and charm went a long way. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts and on the dance floor.

Loraine you have our deepest sympathies, such a "larger than life" loss for you and the dance...
