Richard J. Blevins

Thank you for remembering Rich. I recognize your names as he has spoken of you often, especially when I would come into the office and be his substitute receptionist. He always believed he would beat the illness and tried his hardest to do so.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Richard Blevins. He was the best and we adored him. Dr. Blevins always gave us the best care for many, many years. He went above and beyond, giving excellent advice, service and personal attention.
We knew he loved his family and had a special place in his heart for the outdoors.
Our deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

I was so saddened when my sister, a classmate of Rich's, called to tell me of his untimely passing.

I was 2 years behind Rich at CVHS & looked up to him both as an outstanding football player & student. I followed his career at Cal State Hayward & saw him frequently at Cal Berkeley. I was finishing up my undergraduate studies & He was at the Optometry School. Our paths crossed frequently and, as always, he had that quick wit & a chuckle.
