Not sure what to say?

I remember my music teacher, Richard Boatwright at Belleville High School in Belleville, MI. I graduated in 1957. He was well liked by the students and he always reminded me of Mario Lanza. I'm sadden to hear of his passing.

I had the honor of being considered a friend of Richard boatwright's. He is a great loss to me personlly. To his family and friends you have my heartfelt sympathy. I will always remember his wonderful humor and sage advice. J. Bluitt & family

I just received an email from my niece, Patti Cartwright, about Richard. He was one of my Mother's (Esther Fletcher)favorites. Please accept my sincere condolences. Mom has surely welcomed him.

Dick and I graduated from high school together. I have many great memories of him. One was on our senior trip. We were on a boat to Mackinaw Island. Dick was asked to sing, and his wonderful voice stole the show. All the various schools on board were overwhelmed, and our classmates were so proud. My most recent contact was when Dick called me to say such wonderful things about my son. He will be greatly missed.

Sorry for the loss of your father. You have been in my prayers.

Went to school with Dick, worked with him at Crestwood Public Schools. We knew each other for
70 years. Will think of him often.

I am a friend of Nelson and Nnacy's. I know this man will be greatly missed and was deeply loved. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May you all find peace at this very sad time.

So sorry to hear of your loss.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

This came as quite the shock....I looked so foward to Thursdays with Mr. B listening to his stories and his jokes....I will greatly miss him and that that big smile I always got when I walked in his door.
