Not sure what to say?

I still think of you Al. You, of all people, deserved far better

To a true gentleman
respect JL

The gentle wit, the literary mind. These are his words, this was his view:

"I can't say that Harrison Salibury's "The 900 Days" changed my life, but it did teach me to put things in perspective - no matter how crappy my life may be at a given time, it's never been the seige of Leningrad." -Richard Allan Bodine, 2003

The Stew and world is a lesser place without him.

With sympathies to all who'll miss you, my friend...for you, may your flights of fancy be there for all eternity...painless and full of wisdom. Seeing and enjoying all.

Why someone with (as Justinian put it) a passion for life and for all he loved in life, who probably never once said an unkind word to anyone ever, had to go so early, I'm not sure I will ever understand. At least he is no longer suffering. I'll be sure to raise a glass (or three or four) in Al's honor.

Best wishes to Mrs. Bodine. From what those who made it to the visitation said, he was very blessed to have you for a mom.

A truly exceptional person. Rest in peace,Al.

God bless, Al.

Descansa en paz, Al.
