Not sure what to say?

I'm sad to hear Rich has died and truly sorry for the loss your family has experienced. He was an uncommon leader and a caring person. I pray that your family will be comforted in time and his faith and courage will have an enduring presence with you.

Dear Mary, What a terrible loss for you and your family. I have many happy memories of Rich within our Mercy Association community. Who can forget all the fun times at the Christmas parties as he played Santa's helper and his job as the Grill Master at the BBQs for the sisters at Marian Oaks. Rich was always ready to help out when needed and always ready to crack a joke. We have been blessed to have had him touch our lives. May our loving God enfold you in his arms and give you peace and...

Dear Mary and Family,

My deepest sympathy to all of you at this sad time. Although I never knew Rich personally, I remember him from Mercy High days. From all the praises that have been written about him, I'm sure he has a very high place in heaven! You were truly blessed to have such a caring husband who did so much for others. May the wonderful memories you made together give you comfort in the days to come as you grieve his loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you...

Dear Mary and Family, Special prayers for Rich and for all of you during this hard time. An out-of-town trip prevented me from attending services, but I do have such great memories of you two from Mercy and Serra days. Know all of our Mercy Associates near and far are also with you in prayer as well as Sisters of Mercy. God bless all of you.

I would like to express my condolences to your family in this time of your loss. I recall Mr. Bona being one of the kindest men I knew as I was growing up in San Mateo and attending St. Bart's. I recall one occasion where I was serving as altar boy during a mass. For some reason, I became ill, but I did not want to abandon my post. Mr. Bona saw my evident distress and kindly came up on the altar and ushered me away and waited with me until I felt better. I have no recollection of the feeling...

Dear Mary and Family, Rich is one of the most loving and generous person our family is lucky enough to meet. He was there for Ken all the way especially during RCIA. Rich always know how to cheer someone on! Rich was a walking example of what love and forgiveness for all means. Your pure, loving and caring bond with Rich is something Ken and I aspire to have! We will miss Rich dearly.... Our most heartfelt condolences to you and your family.....
Our prayers will be with you... Ken So &...

My sincere sympathy to family. Remember Richard well as my neighbor on Santa Fe Avenue. Many wonderful childhood remembrances. My prayers. Betty Dennehy Murphy

Dear Mary and family,
I am so so saddened to hear of Rich's passing. You have been a personal example to me since high school (St. Bart's Teen Club) of a strong and loving relationship, and true sacramental marriage. Your welcoming presence at St. Bart's, and throughout the San Mateo community, has put so many people at ease in good times and bad. Rich exemplified a man of true faith, and I am confident he is now "in Paradiso".
My sincere and heartfelt condolences.
