To Dick's family- I was deeply saddened to learn of Dick's unexpected death. Please accept my deepest sympathy. He was a truly kind, generous, gracious man. When the UA Campus Health Service ventured into some sleep data collection, Dick was instrumental in "coaching" us along our path and recommending how to strengthen our efforts. Over the last several days I have thought a lot about my lovely interactions with Dick, many of which demonstrate what a wonderful, unique, and kind man he was.
