Not sure what to say?

Ann, many thoughts have been about you in the last year. My deepest sympathy is with you as I know the difficulties with lossing a parent. God Bless you & your family.

Dr. Brand became our dentist when we moved to Kansas City around 20 years ago and served our family until he retired. He was a delightful, generous man, and the world is most certainly a better place because he lived here.

Martha, I just now learned of Dr. Brand's death. I am so sorry. I don't take the paper and was not aware of his death. Please accept our most sincere condolences. My family were patient's of his and I went to school with him. Our grandson was fighting a brain tumor at the same time he was and he also lost his fight. Again, our thoughts and prayers are with you. John & Pat (Shupp) Hodges

Martha,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. It was a special privilege to get acquainted with both of you. Your support during our common situations was a real source of strength. There was a special bond with Dick that we will never forget.
With deepest sympathy,

All members of the UMKC dental community mourn the passing of Dr. Richard Brand, a member of the Class of 1963. On behalf of our faculty, students, staff and alumni, we wish to convey our heartfelt sympathies to Dr. Brand's family.
~Dr. Marsha Pyle, Dean of the UMKC School of Dentistry

Martha,
I worked with you at State Farm Claim's Office in N.K.C. back in the late 50's and early 60's. I have often thought of you, but our paths never crossed again after we quit working together.
I was very sorry to hear of Dick's passing. You and your family are in my prayers.
My e-mail address is [email protected]
I would love to hear from you when you feel up to writing.

Lynda and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as we celebrate the life of such a wonderful and inspritational man. I will never forget at Lynda's wedding when he was able to walk down the aisle beaming with such pride and excitement. With much love, Joel, Gina Jakob and Jakxon Leffert-Paige

My family thoughts and prayers are with the Brand Family. We were patients of Dr. Brand for many many years. I asked the office staff about him whenever I had appt. He was very brave in his battle with the Brain Cancer. We extend our deepest sympathy.

Martha, I worked for your husband starting in High School (Antioch Center)until I moved out of state. He was a great boss and a very warm and caring Dentist.
