My sympathy to the Brauer family. I will always remember Richard for his kindness to others especially to those of us challenged with a chronic stutter. I served with Richard on the National Stuttering Association Board of Directors. I appreciated the Brauer family opening their home to members of NSA's Orange County Chapter for several years and Richard leading the chapter as their President. The thoughts and prayers of my family are with you during this difficult time. I have fond memories of your family while we were growing up, going to Orangewood Academy and of the 20th reunion party, so graciously hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Brauer for the Class of 1981, which was the last time I saw Dr. Brauer. God bless you with peace and may you find solace in your memories.
