Not sure what to say?

My wife Renee and I had the pleasure of going through a disciple class with Richard while he was ministering at Hershey FUMC. We can truly say that Richard IS a faithful disciple of Christ. His example of love, warmth and faithfulness was the foundation for our Christian beginnings. We were blessed to have known him. May God comfort you while you are apart. Christ will reunite you again. Peace be with you.

I'm so sad to hear of his passing. Pastor Brenneman was my pastor growing up. He gave the best hugs and even brought our confirmation class ice cream from Friendly's. I felt so small and nervous sitting next to him as acolyte. A true man of God full of wisdom and grace. What a Yorkshire reunion for Pastor Pam Ciancosi, Pastor Woody Barges and Pastor Brenneman in the presence of Jesus. My prayers are with his family, as they celebrate the gift of him and mourn the loss of him here on earth.

Growing up with the Brenneman's living across the street I fondly remember Dick and many childhood fun times together. May he rest in peace and may his family be comforted during this difficult time.

Dear Lynne, John, David, Peter, Caroline, and families,

I mourn with you in the passing of your husband, father, and grandfather. Pastor Brenneman and your family were a very important part of my life when you all lived and served in Spry. He was my pastor during my confirmation and I have terrific memories of youth activities and school activities involving all of you. May your memories and console you during this sad time and bring you joy in the days ahead. May he rest in peace...

Sending our love and prayers.

Lynne, you and your family have our deepest sympathy. I remember Pastor Benneman very well. He was at Locust St. Methodist Church in Wrightsville. I believe it was his first charge. He was pastor when I joined that church and I have many memories of him there. I think you were married while he was there. May God bless you and your family.

Lynne, you have my deepest sympathy. I remember P Pastor Brenneman well. He was at Locust St. Methodist Church in Wrightsville, I believe it was his first charge and you all were married while he was there. He also was pastor when I joined that church. When Nadean Bausman and I visited you in Elizabethtown a few years ago I was surprised how much he and you remembered from that time. May God bless you and your family.

I am a second cousin. Our fathers, Lloyd Brenneman and Richard Waltemyer(for whom Richard was named) grew up like brothers across the street from each other in Stewartstown. So sorry Richard and I lost touch as we grew old (I was born in 1932 in York, have now lived in N. Carolina for 31 years). Have worked on genealogy for years, if you're interested.
