Richard E. "Snowball" Briggs, 89, of Washington, died Friday, February 19, 2021, in his home.
He was born April 25, 1931, a son of the late George and Naomi Rasel Briggs.
He was in the Army from 1952-1954 at Fort Hood, Texas.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr. Briggs was my neighbor across the street at TCA. He was a nice and kind man, who cared about other people. I knew he was feeling bad but wasn't expecting his passing so soon. I personally loved his decorating at the holidays and especially at Christmas. You could tell he really got a kick out of it. He will be missed.
