Not sure what to say?

Dear Lucy and family, So sorry to hear about the passing of Dick, but rejoice with you all that you will see him in heaven. When we drove out to McNeal, Pam was so scared of being "out west". But Dick and you made us feel so at home. Would you believe we now live in southern Utah! We remember eating at the Mexican Restaurant in Bisbee, AZ, touring Tombstone, watching the AZ Cardinals in the Super Bowl and trying to get Dick to move to the front pew of the Baptist Church in Elfrida AZ. I remember going to the Bruce family home on Sunday evenings for afterglow following church service. They are an amazing Christian family.

May the God of all comfort be with Lucy and the entire family. What a husband, father, and family leader. You were all lucky to have such a Godly man for the time God allowed.

Sending my deepest sympathy to you all. Dick was a gem of a man and so very precious. I have such wonderful memories . Sending my love and prayers

My condolences to the Bruce family. What a legacy Pops left!

Pop, as we knew him, was a faithful servant of our Lord. He had lots of gifts and gave freely to those in need.

Dick was legendary in his love for Jesus and his love for people. I was always amazed at how he could build or fix anything. But even more amazing is his and Lucy's legacy in their children and grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. God's blessings and comfort to all.

We came to New Hope just a few years ago. The Bruce family welcomed us with open arms. Warm thoughts to Lucy and all the family. Even though we were not close, the Lord gave us blessings through Dick's relationship to Him.

Sherrie and family, I have a lot of memories of your dad. I spent a lot of time with you all when I was younger. Your dad was always a fun person, and your whole family was like a family to me at the time. (Sherrie was my best friend for a long time) Your endless memories of your dad, husband will be in your hearts forever. God bless you all. Lisa Holt (Smith)
