Richard Barton Buchholzer

I am just now seeing this (03/06/2026). My late husband Ben Honeyman, was the store manager of the JCPenney store at Chapel Hill until 12/09/1994. He passed away at his store, at the age of 46. Mr. Buchholzer came to Ben´s funeral, in Pickerington, Ohio. It meant a great deal to our family. Mr. Buchholzer was a true friend to the Akron Police Department. I was one of the many Police Officers that worked for Mr. B.

He always treated us with respect and was a TRUE gentleman.

When he would meet with the National Lay Counsel of the Association of Unity Churches, (I was Chair of the Association's Board of Trustees'Executive Committee)we were also meeting.
