Not sure what to say?

RIP Rick. You will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Rick Buck was my oldest friend. We met starting 7th grade together at Onondaga in 1968. I was a "new kid" having moved into the district from the city and yet I quickly found a kindred spirit in Rick. His intelligence, humor and good-heartedness were a part of his personality from the time we were 12 years old. That never changed and through all the years and my own travels away from CNY, every time I moved back, Rick would re-kindle our friendship. I was never good at keeping in touch,...

My deepest condolences to Rick's daughters. He was a kind soul and one of the most talented carpenters I know..may his legacy be carried on by the gifts he left behind.

Grace knew Sierra as a little girl & we remember Rick. Just saw Kolleen not too long ago. Just found out about this yesterday and the service was passed or we would have gone. God Bless and give the family peace during a very difficult time. love, Marge & Grace Geno

To Rick's Family, I was shocked to hear of Rick's passing. He had redone my bathroom over a year ago and did an amazing job, truly a perfectionist. He was here for awhile so we chatted often. He was a very kind and gentle man. He loved my kitties and even got my shy one to come out when he was here. I spoke to him not long ago at Wegmans and was hoping to have him come back to do more work. I'm in shock and so very sorry for your loss. May you rest in peace Rick. Sandy

Rest easy, noble friend. Keep your light on for us.

So sorry Tom, his daughters, father, and everyone else. He was my first crush/love way back in the mid seventies though I know I was not his. We stayed in touch for many years and spoke recently. He turned me on to the Grateful Dead, Joni Mitchell, and the Allman Brothers. You don't forget someone like that. And to Karen, my old high school friend, and Tom's new wife, Let me just say Peace, Strength, & Hope to you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Buck family at this sad time.
