You did your best to bring the family closer. I loved how you would just show up on a Sunday afternoon. Although we weren't the closest, I will miss your jolly laugh, deep blue eyes, and your huge bear hugs terribly Uncle Dick.

To My Family in Michigan --
How sad I was to hear of Uncle Dick's untimely passing. I know it has been years since we last saw him, but still alot of fond memories of him - especially at Grandma and Grandpa's. He was quite the character and will be missed dearly. He is now at peace and looking down at us all - protecting. We will see him again. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Miss you Uncle Dick. Sue (Buitendorp) Anthony and entire family.
