Not sure what to say?

Thanks so much to those of you who have posted and shared memories. He was a great man and amazing father. Your kind words and stories have brought comfort to our family in our time of grief. May God bless you and keep you safe.

Sincere Thanks,

Brother Bob, we will never forget your getting the grill for our wild boar in Somalia when everyone thought it was impossible. Thanks for all the great memories and for quiting at nothing to get the fellas what they were after. To the Burrough family you are in our prayers as we share in the loss of a truly great American. NSDQ

Karen, my husband Mike and I knew Bob well at Ray High School, although Mike knew Bob longer and played football with him for years. We have a photo from Padre Island in 1975 with our "old" high school friends, and Bob (we knew him as Bobby)was also in it. We are so sorry about your loss and your family's losing Bobby. Karen....so sad to hear of Bob's passing. My prayers and thoughts are with you, your family and my old friend. He will be sorely missed.

Bob and I have shared Dirt, Tours, and Tears. He is missed and shall never be forgotten. The Burroughs Family will be in our Prayers

Bobby, I've missed you over the years. You gave me the best boxing lesson I ever had. Memories of you live on with those who knew and loved you. You were a real pal.

Karen, sorry to hear about Bobby & sorry we never met.I knew Bobby very well as a teen ager in C.C. We played football & Basketball together in Jr. High & football for three years in H.S at Ray.I was left tackle & he was left end and shared a lot of memories. He was a fiery competitor in every aspect of his life and we have lost one of our true "Americans".As a friend & fellow American I will say , Bobby was a credit to his family & country.May the peace of the Lord fill your life for the void...

NSDQ... My sincere condolences to the Burroughs family. Bob was a great soldier, aviator and friend. I met Bob several years ago on the golf course at Redstone and we immediately became friends. We shared many of the same friends from our Army days and we enjoy competing against each other on the links. He was a unique guy for sure, a lot of fun to be around. I honor his Army service and friendship... May God rest his sole in peace and bless this great American soldier.
