Not sure what to say?

Dear Buth Family -
I just learned today of the passing of your father and felt my heart break. I served with him on the County Board. He was my mentor and my friend. He was always there to teach me and to support me. I will never forget him or the influence he had on my life.
My deepest sympathy to all of you.
Beth (Bandstra) Decker

Diane, Linda, Danielle, Janet, and Buth/Ericksen family - you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss Uncle Dick, who I last saw at my father (Eric)'s memorial service, but have a much happier memory of both Uncle Dick and Aunt Martha attending my wedding in 2006. I hope all of the fond memories sustain you during this difficult time.

My sincere sympathy to all of Dicks family. For years I was fortunate to earn his business, but he became more then a customer.Richard was a kind, interesting, and versatile person whom I admired and looked up to as countless others did.
Sincerely,
Doug Verburg

Steve Magennis, son of Dick's friends Doris and Charles Magennis, sends condolences to Dick's family.. The Buths shared many good times with my parents.

I share with my cousins happy memories of uncle Dick - the farm, family picnics and golf outings and being chauffeured by him to Sunday School at Comstock Park Congregational Church along with my sisters and Danielle and Janet. He will be missed - love to Diane, Linda, Danielle and Janet.

Our condolences to Dicks family. I served with Plainfield Township in the 60's and had a lot of respect for Dick.
He was a good friend.

Janet, many years ago (when we were "kids"), we worked together at The Fideler Company, and I have often wondered what became of you. I remember how proud you were (and how impressed Mr. Fideler was) when your dad became a state representative. My thoughts and prayers will be with you now during this time of grieving and adjustment.

I am so saddened by Uncle Dick's passing. We had so many great times at the farm -- the barn, playing the Ericksen family favorites hide and seek, croquet and badminton. And, of course, golf. My dad and Uncle Dick always played together at each other's clubs. And, they had some pretty good times together. Love to Diane, Linda, Danielle and Janet.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
