My condolences to the Butler family. Rich was always an individual who "never gave up" without giving 110% of himself. It was obvious to me that he was a Christian by the way he lived. His leadership commanded respect and honor. He taught me more than I could ever say. I would often talk to him about almost anything and feel closer to a solution. His sense of humor was excellent and applied when needed! I once asked him what the secret word was. After a pause, I responded, sense, it´s not so...

My Sincere Condolences to Rich's Family and friends after hearing about Rich's Passing. Rich was a huge part of my early integration into DSM as someone with no experience. He always took the time to explain to me the in's and out's of the products and process as a whole but most importantly, he was always available to help and to catch up about life and give reassurance of a job well done. I will miss our talks and his overall great perspective on life. Upon his retirement, he was super...

I am saddened to learn of Rich's passing. He was a colleague at DSM and I learned so much from him anytime we worked on a solution together and he was always kind, patient and personable. Sending sincere condolences to Rich's family and friends.
