Not sure what to say?

Spoolie was a good friend and will be missed by any and all that knew him. We used to have great times on my houseboat. The class of 65 lost one of the best.

My siblings and I were next door neighbors during the Two Rivers HS years. We looked up to Richard's achivements. He passing is a loss to the community and to the memories of youth. We extend our condolences to his family and brother, Roger.

Richard and his brother Roger and I played on the Two Rivers football team, and because of the year difference in our ages, I was closer to Roger. But of course everyone in our class of 66 thought a lot of "Spoolies" for his athleticism in football, basketball and track and his upstanding morals. Nancy and my prayers go out to Roger and Sharon and Richard's wife, children, and grandchildren.

Richard was a very close friend when we played football and basketball together at Two Rivers. "Spoolie" was a loyal and determined confidant one could always count on in a pinch. When Spoolie had "my back" I knew we could handle anybody or anything. I know that I will have another chance to be with Richard in the future. I will pray for Ellen and all the family. Richard is now without pain and resting in peace.

Richard was such a good friend, and although we haven't had the opportunity to talk in the last few years, Ellen kept us connected though e-mail. I will miss him, and please accept my condolences and prayers for the family.

Richard "Spoolie" and I went to Two Rivers together and I can't tell you how much I liked him. He used to tease me unmercifully about having a big nose! I know he will be missed terribly by everyone who knew and loved him.

Teresa- I am so sorry to hear about your dad's pasing. I will keep you and Todd, the kids and your mom Linda in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I could be there, but if you need anything please e-mail me.

My prayers go out to Richard's family, especially to his daughter, Teresa, who grew up with my daughter, Kimberly. May God bless each one of you during this time of loss.
