Harlingen - Richard Camacho, 60, went to be with his Heavenly Father, Thursday morning, January 18, 2018 at his residence in Harlingen, Texas.
He was born on March 6, 1957 in San Benito, Texas to Juan Camacho & Maria Zamora Camacho.
Richard was retired from the Harlingen Police Department after 20 years of service. He was admired & loved deeply by all.
Richard is survived by his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory, beloved wife of 39 years, Angie Camacho; daughter, Amanda Posada (David); son, Ricardo Camacho, Jr.; and his grandchildren who were the light of his life, Isaiah Posada & Ethan Posada.
Visitation will be held today, January 19, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel with Pastor Barry Jackson of Christian Fellowship Church officiating.
Interment will follow to Heavenly Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria with the Harlingen Police Honor Guard.

Prayers go out to Richard's family. He was like a brother to my husband Richard. They started working at the HPD the same year and became friends right away. They were tocayos. It breaks my husbands heart to loose Richard Camacho this year and David Salines a couple of years ago. All 3 were buddies. God bless Angie, kids, and family.
