Not sure what to say?

Dear Nancy and family I am so sorry to hear that Dick died, Today I was sitting at my grandsons lacrosse game and Jay told me, about a celebration of life for him at my church. I would have come had I known.

We are so sorry to just hear of Dick´s passing. What a special man who left his mark on our family & the entire Chittenango community. We are so sorry for you, Nancy, & all of your family. We will have Dick & all of you in our prayers.

Dick and I were in the sam American History class in high school. He sat in front of me and would often reach behind himself and grab my knee to make me squeal during class. It always took me by surprise and would make me laugh after the fact!

When Dick and Nancy Carroll moved to town, I knew that they would be great addition to the Chittenango Community and they certainly never disappointed me. I was very sad to learn of Dicks passing.

Our sincere sympathy to the Carroll family for their loss. I always enjoyed Dick´s stories and he always had a lot of them.

dear ones nancy heather katie dick grateful for so many memories of your family dick was a force of nature who embraced life empowered others, the love of life he shared shines in each of you and all the lives he touched love is eternal may you be comforted by grace and peace of christs embrace love hugs to family friends lightlove blessings

Sorry to hear about the passing of Richard he was my dentist when he practiced in Chittenango. May he RIP

Generosity of spirit was what I saw most in all my exposure to Dick. Fly tying was a very significant opportunity he offered the community; it was an exceptional experience for my son Griffin, certainly many memories he will never forget. As a legacy, Griffin often goes out and catches lunch in Canaseraga Creek. Don't rest in peace Dick, go fishing!

Dr. Carroll (Dick) was a great dentist and loved to talk about fly fishing while "in the chair". He was also a dedicated community supporter. I served with Dick on the Chittenango School Board where he was a true child advocate. My condolences to Nancy and the family for which he was very proud.
