Read MoreI worked with Rich for many years at Bethel Park High School in building #3. He was one of "the doctors". Rich was always friendly, funny, and brightened your day. He was loved by his students and was a good teacher. I also saw Rich at CUMC. I will really miss him!

I was in Mr. Carter's chemistry class the day that JFK was assassinated and I will never forget his professionalism in keeping us 16-17 year olds calm in the face of such a tragedy. He was the consummate professional and a wonderful teacher. My prayers are with the Carter family at this most difficult time.

My deepest respects and condolences to the entire Carter family for your loss.
Mr. Carter was a great teacher and was highly respected by his peers and by his students. I was in that first Earth Science class he taught at Canon McMillan High School.
He had a great sense of humor and challenged every student to do their best. He was a model for other teachers to emulate. He was one of the best! He had a great spirit!
