Not sure what to say?

Happy birthday Poppy!

Dear MaryAnn,
I couldn't believe it when I read that Dick has passed away. I am so shocked and sad. I would have been at his services if I had known. Please know how much his friendship has meant to me over the years. I met him as a young girl in high school and as an adult I always looked forward to running into him at C-town or around Easton. He was one of a kind a true "gem". I have so many great memories of him our big VICA trip to Kentucky, the old CIT bus breaking down coming home...

To the Entire Carty Family,
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Dick. He has been a great friend of ours and will truly be missed. May all your memories bring you comfort and happiness. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. If there is anything we can do don't hesitate to let us know. Debbie & Bruce Sandt

And you now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man takes from you. John 16:22

You will forever be in our hearts Poppy, we love you!

I HAD HIM IN MY SHOPRITE MARKTING CLASS AT CIT ONLY IF SOMEONE NEEDED HELP OR THEY JUST WANTED THE DAY OFF AND ALSO HIS VERY BEST WIFE . HE LOVED TO CHAT AND TALK BUT SOMETIMES A MAYBE A LITTIE TO MUCH BUT HE LOVED ALL THE KIDS THERE EVEN SOME OF THE BAD ONES. HE WAS GREAT BECAUSE IF YOU WERE AS DEAD AS A DOOR NAIL HE COULD WOKE RIGHT UP OUT OF YOUR CHAIR. I WILL ALWAYS BE FRIENDS WITH HE WIFE WHEN SHE NEEDS ME.

Marie & Family: I was deeply sorry to hear of the loss of Dick. He accomplished so much in his life leaving behind a wonderful family and so many memories of the lives he touched with the community as a husband, father, grandfather, teacher and coach. Working with him at CIT, I quickly realized his sincere passion and love for all his students. He believed they all were special and could succeed if they really tried. He carried this belief outside the classroom and into his community...
