I brought Mr Cassady Holy Communion every Sunday while he was at Atria Nursing home. I am sorry I didn't find out about his passing in time to attend his funeral. Mr Cassady had a great love and devotion for the Eucharistic Jesus. He would not sit down during the communion service but preferred to stand out of respect. He told me on several occasions how thankful he was to be able to receive Holy Communion. Mr. Cassady received Christ pretty much every Sunday that he was at Atria. He was...

Sorry to hear of your loss. Your loss is our los, as well. He was a kind and sweet neighbor. I can still see his blue van pulling out of his driveway every day to attend morning Mass. He loved his family and was devoted to his wife, Daisy. He will be and has been missed.
