Not sure what to say?

We were saddened to hear of Dick's death just yesterday. He was a dear and caring man in all ways and will be greatly missed. Our condolences to the family. Go with God Dick.

We knew Richard and Helga through the Twelve Nighters Dance Club. We were new members, but they both made us feel so welcome. Even though our friendship was brief, we came to know what truly wonderful people they both were. They will be missed. Our sympathies to the family.

How very lucky I was to have known this wonderful man! We served together on Lutheran Homes of Oconomowoc Board...and he was absolutely incredible!! His passion for life, sense of humor and just downright kindness touched me and made me so look forward to seeing him!! I understand that he was a "gift" at LHO when he moved in and brightened so many of the residents lives!! He often spoke of his family and was so very proud of all of you! You have my sincere sympathy!! I feel blessed to...

Dick Chambers was one of most caring men I ever met. When I would see him after my husband died he would say "you look like you need a hug" and hug me he would. All who knew him will miss him greatly. I knew how he missed his dear, dear Helga and now they are together. My sympathy to his family.

We truly felt that Dr. Chambers was such an excellent example of a caring Christian--in everything he did, from the way he took care of his family to the way he cared for his patients, and in the way he took such an interest in every person he encountered. What a wonderful man! Your family is in our prayers.

I have many memories of Dr. Chambers. As achild appointmnets at the clinc off Center street. Housecalls he made when one of us was sick. Then as a young adult working at Oconomowoc hospital and feeling special when he came to make rounds, because I knew him literally forever. My parents and he and his wife Helga were friends. He was there when all four of us greeted the world. A truly dear and kind man. Most of all a wonderful doctor.

My deepest sympathy. Dr. Chambers
was a dear friend as well as his bringing all of my sons into the world
from 1954-1964. I always made a point of visiting with him at his home in Hartland on my trips to Wisconsin.
I will miss hearing from him every Christmas. I truly loved him as I am sure you all did. Again, my deepest sympathy.

My sincere condolences to the Chambers family for their great loss. I remember the many fun times your mom & dad's "club" had at North Lake. Your dad will be fondly missed not only by his family but also the community.

Everything we know and love about Richard will be dearly missed however I take comfort in knowing that he is again with those who he missed to much. This wonderful man meant so much to me for all the 34 years that I was fortunate to have known him.
