God Bless Dick Chase. You will be missed in the canyon. My condolences to his family.

Dick was a great person who delighted our friends with stories when he stopped by with news of our landscaping or talk of Cascade. We never worried one bit about the weeding, seeding, gophers, or safety of our vacation house and it was a real delight to be around him. I trusted his judgment and freindship and you'd never meet a more honest man, and we will miss him.

I think you mean Samuel Chase, the first Secretary of the Treasury.
