Not sure what to say?

Mr. Chase's Athol Daily News gave me a summer internship that changed my life and I spent a career in publishing that took me around the world chasing book authors. Many thanks and rest in peace.

Ted and Steve, and the rest of your family. So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was such a sweet man! I hope your memories of him will carry you through this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you.

Sorry Marjoie for the passing of your Dad ,Our sympathy to you and your family .

Sincere sympathy to the Chase family... Thoughts and prayers. We had strong connections at one time to your family. The Taft's spent many an hour with you all... So sorry for your loss. Your father was a very strong leader of the community.. And handsome as hell !!!! Love the youngest of the Taft family, Susan ...

Mr. Chase kindly and insightfully fostered my interest in journalism, publishing, and printing. I am always and forever grateful to him.

Sympathy wishes go out to the entire Chase family. I was employed by the Athol Daily News for 10 years as reporter and assistant editor, and Mr. Chase was always kind to me. I remember enjoying using the word "avuncular" to describe him. He was very much like a caring uncle to me.
