Not sure what to say?

Dear Chase Family, my condolences. I just heard the news that my classmate is gone. His smile, his infectious humor and laughter sustained us all at Rice Avenue. He will be sorely missed, and all that he was, and all the memories we all have of him. May God Bless you and comfort you at this time. Janine Preston

Sue and the Beattie family do not wish to fail to include Dick's sister, Bettie, and his beloved niece and nephew, Stephanie and Chad, and trio of great nephews as well in our condolences. We know your brother and uncle blessed your lives and he was much blessed by all of you in return. Richard obviously left an impression on us all. The world was made better by his example and lively outreach. We all regard him as unforgettable !

Dana and I are sad to hear of Dicks passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Dick has been a family friend for as long as I can remember and he will be missed.

My condolences for your loss. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Richard...I will miss your wonderful smile ALWAYS greeting everyone...I will miss your ALWAYS wave out your bus window...I will miss your joviality and laughter at all the pleasant times we've passed in the H. S. hallways and shared conversation. You will be so sadly missed each and every day. Whenever I saw you in your bus, I knew those children were blessed with having you as their bus driver. May you rest in peace knowing that you left a huge "mark" of greatness with the Bay Village School...

Mr. Chase was the kindest, warmest bus driver a mom of young children could ever ask for. He made it easy to send my little ones off to school for the first time. We miss his smile and send our condolences to his family.

Loved starting my day by waiving to Dick smiling in his school bus as we passed each other on Wolf Road, not to mention all the soccer games on the sidelines watching our sons, what a kind & gentile soul. My continued thoughts & prayers to the entire Chase Family
