Not sure what to say?

I feel honored to have had a friend like Richard. He knew how to "raz-a-ma-taz" friends like no other! I loved to listen to the stories of Wilwin Lodge. One of my favorites was when Richard had collected hundreds of frogs and snuck them into his room. To his dismay, they escaped during the night and hopped their way out of his room and into the rest of the Cabin! The mischievous twinkle in his eyes and his boisterous laugh are ever present in my mind. His love of his family including...

Dick, as Jaycee, insurance agent, husband of City Council race opponent, then fellow teacher and MPSERF member, a long life well lived, and always a friend...may he rest in peace....

Dick C. What a Gentleman and Great Friend! Knew him and Joyce for many years. Dick was a U.S.Navy Officer aboard an LST (Landing Ship Tank) that landed our troops in North Korea during that long-ago war. Dick knew Wilwin, Trout Lake, Michigan in the U.P. like the back of his hand (family will know what I mean). He was an enthusiastic Legionnaire of Ann Arbor American Legion Post #46. Dick. You will be missed by us all; it was SO GOOD to know you!

My goodness, what a loss! I worked for Dick at BCN in the 70's and 80's. A most wonderful guy. Enjoyed his humor and teasing. Knew Joyce too and had been a guest in their home many times. Rest in peace.

Such a great loss for your family, but he is finally back with Joyce, and the circle of love in life is complete.

Knew Dick and Joyce for years. Celebrate a life well lived and loved by all. My condolences on your lose.

Dick was the most wonderful grandfather my grandkids could have ever had! We will all miss his smiles and jokes. He was truly an inspiration to all. Love.......Marlene

Such a good man. Warm and gentle and kind. A good example for all. :)

I am sorry for your loss. May prayer comfort you.
