Richard Lee Chrisman

I new Richard as Dickie, when I moved two doors down from him at Idylwide Park in Phoenix in 1952. We went to school at Longview elementary And North Phoenix High. I remember how excited he was when he received a schwin bicycle for Christmas. After my brothers and I got paper routes with the Arizona Republic, Dickie got an evening route with the Gazette. I will never forget the last service club banquet we attended. We were right up front with Dick, Peggy, and Scotty. I always enjoyed visiting with the dynamic duo on my breaks at Motorola. Let Scotty know we will all miss his buddy.

To the family of Richard
I only recall meeting Richard once. It was at a puppy raising meeting and Richard had not had Scotty very long. We were all excited to see Scotty again and meet his partner. Richard impressed me as a very caring individual. I am sorry for your loss.

I so regret not visiting more or keeping in touch. Lee, was a perfect example of what great things a person can achieve no matter what the obstacles. He didn't leave the world without making a big difference for many people.

Forever in heart, thought and prayer...

Dick, you will be missed old Friend. From before you lost your sight to well after, I never heard you utter an unkind word about anyone nor did I ever hear you feel sorry for yourself. With Scotty by your side we all got a chuckle as we heard your computer drone on, in its machine voice monotone. That didn't stop you though, you produced as much if not more than the rest of us. When we had our little get togethers you showed up to have Chinese food or pizza. You always were a positive...

Richard was a wonderful, giving person whom I had the pleasure to know while working at Motorola.
With Scotty by his side, he became an inspiration to all of us who knew him. Richard was such a positive person, with always a friendly smile and hello for whoever passed by, and always had time to just stop and talk.
He will be greatly missed by all who knoew him.
