Clarke, a man who placed me in my first job at IBM, hired me as his operations manager at Richard Clarke Associates for 4 years and sent me on to Massachusetts and three other employers. He was a mentor through my 20's, my employer in my 30's and always my dear friend. He was the well to which I could always return for renewal and I shall miss knowing he is there.
