Dr. Clawson, we were so sorry to hear of your loss. We hold you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
Medicine Hat 911

Jeff and Kisi,
What wonderful memories we have of your Dad (and Mom). The little U Street neighborhood won't be the same without Dick. How well we remember his faithful and willing service in the Bishopric. No one knew Ward finances as well as Dick. But it was his kindness, his testimony, his walking, his heart, and the way he loved Dorothy and his grandchildren that we'll cherish the most. Jann and I send our love to you at this time.

Dear Kisi, Jeff, and all the Clawsons,
We were saddened to hear of Dick's passing, and extend our heartfelt condolences. We are on our way back to Utah from the east and are in St. Louis at this time. Sorry we will miss the service, but know our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Fondly,

Judy and Norm Christensen (Dorothy Romney Wright Chapin's daughter and son-in-law)

Dear Kisi, Katie, and all the Clawson Clan:

Dick will be remembered for the gentlemen he always was/still is and for the loving example he set with your beloved mother. There is a great reunion taking place right now...oh, how lucky all of us are to have the Plan of Salvation.

We have been where you are at right now, it's not a fun place; however, it does get better. Take solace in the fact that your Dad lived a wonderful life and is now truly at...

Dear Jeff, Kisi, and Clawson Clan

When we think of our years on First Avenue, the image that comes to mind is Dick. Gracious neighbor, faithful member of our bishopric, and solid friend. Without qualification, one of the best men we ever knew.

We love Dick. Someday we hope to tell him that--again--face to face.

Our condolences to the Clawson family on your loss. May peace be with you at this time.

Dear Kisi and Jeff,

What a wonderful reunion there must have been last night. Knowing that helps ease the pain that I won't be seeing my Uncle Dick for awhile.

I have so many fond memories of your Dad. I will always remember him singing "There Was A Forest Ranger" and his wonderful smile.

I am so very sorry that I will be unable to attend the funeral. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and that my love is with you.
