Mr. Richard O. Clemons, of Flint, age 52, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, January 5, 2013
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Dr. Carlton Weathers officiating. Burial in Gracelawn Cemetery. Visitation Friday 2-8pm and family hour Saturday 11am to 12 noon with service immediately following. Richard was born in Flint on April 19, 1960, the son of Feaster and Retha (Burns) Clemons. He was employed at General Motors as a Skilled Trades Journeyman for 33 years. He leaves to cherish his beloved wife, Jackie; children, Richelle (Anthony) Brown, Richard Clemons Jr, and Ricky (Elizabeth) Clemons; grandchildren Treonna, Tyrell and Treasure; brothers and sisters, Linda Clemons, Reggie (LaTricia) Clemons; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Beverly Clemons and Selester Clemons, grandparents, Arthur and Pearline Burns and Grant and Mary Clemons.
