Not sure what to say?

Like some of the other folks who expressed thoughts, I too had the pleasure of working for Dick - in Las Vegas in 1993/1994. He helped me through a very difficult time in my career, through a tough project. I will always be grateful for his encouragement during that time.

I am sad to hear about Dick's passing. I worked with him in Denver on the Denver Public Library Project. He was a great guy and a pleasure to work with. He was also someone that you knew was sincere and cared about you beyond work. I will include Dick and all of his family in my prayers.

I had the pleasure of working for Richard in the mid-90's on the Denver Library Project for Clark Construction. Richard was a fabulous mentor and boss, although he always acted more like a friend than a boss. He gave me great guidance and passed on his experience to help me learn. He also became a great friend to me and my family. He always remembered my children's birthdays (Hudson, Miranda, Charlotte, and Audrey) through the years, which reflected his thoughtfulness and kindness. My wife...

Richard Click was simply one of the finest men I have ever known, I worked for Richard when he first came to Clark Construction in the mid-90's and was put in charge of our Denver, CO jobsite. His sense of humor, his integrity, his devotion, his ability to cut to the chase - all this and more made him a top notch boss as well as a good friend. My deepest sympathy. I will miss his friendship.

There are those that come into our lives for only a short time and we are forever changed. Dick was one of those people for me and I am blest to have known him and shared stories and laughs and a few tears. Love and prayers to all of you. Lesley (@ The Center)

Dear Rolinda,
Curtis and I are so sorry we haven't been in touch with you for some time and weren't aware of Dick's condition. Please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Mom was, also, deeply saddened by this news. Dick always had such a caring and genuine spirit. He and memories of him will be missed by many.
Lovingly, Nancy

I was sadden to see that my elementry, Junior High, Sunset High School and Cockrell Hill United Methodist Church friend will no longer be amoung us to share his love and friendship. My most favorate memory is the football and baseball we played before classes started at L. O. Donald elementary.

Nell and Rolinda, I am currently in Virginia or I would be at the service for Dick. He is one of my oldest friends. I am so very, very sad about all of this. Yet, I will always remember his smile coming down the elevator at the Adolphus hotel... he looked like an angel then...when he & Rolinda were first dating, he was so happy... and now he has become an angel.

My prayers will be for you both.

To Rolinda and Family;
Dick was a major influence on my life in the 80's when he directed the construction of The Wilshire project. He and Bill Millican were mentors to me and I will miss him greatly. I look forward to visiting Victory Park and thinking of him. You are in my prayers and thoughts.
