I want to express my deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Richard Colan for your recent loss. I worked with Rick as a pari-mutuel clerk at Northfield Park and really enjoyed his easy-going demeanor. I will truly miss him.

I worked with Rich at Northfield Park. He was undoubtedly one of the nicest people I have ever met-he was very positive and mannerly. I will really miss seeing him at work.

I worked with Rich for many years. What a kind, respectfull man. A couple months ago he dug up some lily plants from his yard, and brought them for me to plant in mine.Every spring as they bloom with their fragrant flowers, i will be reminded of Rich and his kind heart.I am truly sorry for your loss.

Our thoughts, prayers and condolences are with Richard's family. I worked with him for almost as many years as he was employed at Northfield Park and fould him to be not only a quiet, soft-spoken person, but warm and personable at the same time. He will be missed by many.
