Read MoreBorn and raised in McDermott Ohio. I hired on the Railroad in 1992. One of my first trips to Bellevue I worked with Rich. He asked what Vastine I belonged to, I was surprised to find out he was from McDermott and new my dad and uncles. I retired as an Engineer also. Rich was one of my favorite Railroaders. My condolences to his family.
