Not sure what to say?

Richard was such a bright, caring and unique person. We worked together and soon became friends. He always challanged me to think deeper about things and strive to be my best. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his family.

Richard will be missed. Such a caring and thoughtful person. My prayers are with his family, and everyone that loved him, and called him a friend.

My dear nephew, I will miss you so much. You were the cutest baby, the most precocious 4 year old, the funniest kid, the smartest young man, with the most annoying way of besting me everytime in political "discussions"......I miss you so much, and i wish so much to turn the clock back. Love, Shaw

Richard was such a great guy. We were friends at a special time in my life, and I will always appreciate his candor. Richard was handsome, had a great personality, intelligent and and had an ability to interact with others, regardless of age. I can't imagine the grief his family is experiencing, and my prayers go out to them all. Rebecca Sullivan

I am so thankful that Richard renewed our relationship. We spent many hours on the phone talking about old times and new ones. I wish he'd made it to Calif. He's home in heaven with his mom and his Mimi now, and for that I'm thankful. We love you Richard & miss you very much.

I worked along side of Richard at American Family Care doing various cabling projects for him. We at Ames Cabling Solutions will miss him dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Richard will be missed. He was an amazing person. We developed our friendship at BBVACompass while working on several Conversions. I will miss you Richard! Aleta

Richard created so many wonderful things during his years with the UAB Department of Pediatrics. His legacy continues here through the systems that he developed and the lives that he touched.

I worked with Richard for many years and he was one of a kind. He will be remembered as the biggest Prince fan ever! Great memories and fun times. To his family, may God be with you during this difficult time.
