Rick I sure miss your sense of humor, our great times in Hilton Head, our shared office space in the Townsend building and partnering with you on the golf course.

Although a reluctant candidate, Rick took the challenge and ran with it - literally. He was a wonderfully kind person with a smile that could light up many rooms. I loved that he could find humor in just about anything. Rick, you will be missed, and Delaware owes you for all you have done for us. Many condolences to the family.

I am filled with saddness after reading that my old friend is gone. I had hoped for at least one more reunion or golf date, but had lost track in recent years. I think today of Rick's kindness and of how many good times we shared. He should also be remembered as a political leader who took his responsibilities seriously and cared about the people he served.
