Hi David and Family, So sorry to learn of your dad's passing. He was a wonderful man in so many ways. I knew him when you and your sisters were at Bethlehem with my brothers and me; I knew him as my Pickelman cousins' uncle and as brother-in-law to my Aunt Alice and Uncle Harley; much later in life, I knew him as a friend of my Aunt and remember him taking us both out for lunch one time when I was visiting from Ohio. Sorry for your loss, may the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding get your thru this difficult time. A memory I have of your parents is when Sue and I became the youth group leaders at Messiah. We approached your parents about the recipe for the potatoes they traditionally made for Easter breakfast. Instead they offered to make them. In some respect it was like keeping the Colonels recipe for chicken a secret. But we were thankful for their help.
