Dear Paddy and Family: I am so very sorry to hear of Dick's passing. We go back a long time together-- grad school at URI in the late 50s, Shannock, hunting trips, Sealab 111, San Diego visits, crustacean and finfish biology, and the much anticipated annual Holiday Greetings. I am sorry for your loss and hope that family and friends bring strength to you all to get through this difficult time. I was not a personal friend but am a fellow of the Academy of Underwater Arts and Sciences. He was a fine person. He will be missed.
