We will always remember Coopie for the joy and happiness he brought to anything and everyone he touched. He would light up a room with his presence. Your throat must be scratchy from singing all the way to heaven. Have a cold beer and cigar with ST. Patrick, but save some for the rest of us. Till we meet again. Peace

Coopie and I spent many good times together. He was one of the nicest people I ever knew. We go back a long time. We both lived at 1107 Washington Street and we were both on the Hoboken Fire Department. We walked together to the fire house and there was never a day that he didn't give me a good laugh. He was a great cook and taught me how to make a good kidney stew. He was a great fireman -- no one could beat his ability with an axe. Mostly he was a good friend. Fond memories of Coopie will...

I am having trouble believing this day is here. I knew that someday it would come, and I thought I would be prepared for this, but somehow I can't believe this is a reality.
