Not sure what to say?

A great, fun friend. The 1952 Willy´s Jeep. Camping in Colo through high school and colleague, he was always humorous whether in words -or most often- actions. See you again Louise made the best dill pickles!

Can I still have the old red Willy jeep? Look forward to seeing you - other side. XO

I don't think I will ever completely realize that Richard is no longer of this earth. In my mind and in my heart, Richard is forever present and smiling, peacefully overlooking my life and discussing with me the irony of it all. I am glad I met Richard and happy about all that we shared. Bernard

I just found out about Richard's passing....4 years late. I am heartbroken for his family. He dies far too early! We were very good friends for a number of years when he lived in NYC before he was married. We had great fun in his house on Cape Cod, NYC and in Bahrain. My best wishes go to his wife and children.

Rich was my best friend dating to age 14 in Fort Collins Colorado. We helped each other through every phase of life. I will never delete his name from my iphone or computer and will remember him in thousands of ways. There is a young conifer tree planted in my yard in his honor. His son Clayton has accepted a job in Denver where I live. I will continue to watch over Clayton. He reminds me of his dad, and I hope I provide the same reminder for him.

Worked with Richard at Chase in Riyadh in the late 1970s. Very smart, great sense of fun and great company exploring and camping in the desert. So sorry to have lost touch in the intervening years as went our separate ways. Best wishes to his family.

I was recently weeding through dozens of old slide carousels gathering dust in my studio when I came across some images of Rich from a camping trip in college. Even then his charm, intelligence and sense of humor shone brightly on the wall over the hum of the projector in the dark room. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss Kate, his passing has left a vast void.

I was recently weeding out old slide carousels stashed in my studio when I came across some images of Richard taken during a camping trip in College. A young man so vibrant, so alive with awareness and intelligence, Rich shone forth onto the dark wall through the hum of the projector. I now feel a great void exists where he once was. I don't know you Kate, but send my sincere condolences to you and your family. Rich was quite a remarkable person.
